2026 Annual Renewal

Every year, licensees — Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) — must participate in an Annual Renewal process to meet licensing requirements and pay their Annual Fees.

The Annual Renewal Form must be completed and submitted between June 1, 2026, 12:01 am ET and July 1, 2026, 11:59 pm ET.

How do I complete the Annual Renewal process?

1. Use the College Portal to submit or confirm all required information, including:

  •  Contact information
  •  Company/Employer/Designated Learning Institution and if applicable, employee information
  •  Details on Professional Liability Insurance
  •  Client Account information, including institution and account details, or Client Account exemption*
  •  Planned or Unplanned Absence Designate, including the designate’s licence number if they are an authorized representative*
  •  Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours completed in past licensing year (July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026)
  •  Existing agent(s)*
  •  Criminal proceedings, conduct matters, or other incidents you are involved in (or have been involved in over the past year)*
  •  Practice statistics
  •  Provincial immigration consultant and lawyer registrations*
  •  Annual Fee payment preference — either payment in full on July 1, 2026, or quarterly payments* (RISIAs must pay their Annual Fees in full)

*Does not apply to RISIAs

2. It is recommended that you use a desktop or laptop computer to access the Annual Renewal Form. Clear your browser’s cookies, as they can cause the browser to autofill the fields incorrectly. If you encounter any issues, please use the Google Chrome browser.

3. Log in to the College Portal to complete your Annual Renewal Form between June 1, 2026, 12:01 am ET and July 1, 2026, 11:59 pm ET. This can be done by clicking the Renew Now button on the Dashboard or by accessing the Annual Renewal section under the Professional Information tab.

If you do not complete the Annual Renewal Form by the deadline, you will be charged a fine and your licence to practise may be suspended.

4. Pay your Annual Fees invoice

On July 1, 2026, your full Annual Fees or your first quarterly payment will be invoiced to you through the College Portal and must be paid by 11:59 pm ET on July 31, 2026.

If you do not pay by the deadline, you will face additional fees and your licence to practise may be suspended.

Planning not to renew?

If you plan to resign your licence and want to avoid being charged the Annual Fees for the upcoming year, submit your resignation application through the College Portal by June 1, 2026.
