Licensees are being reminded that the College is the only credible source of official correspondence regarding professional standards, compliance, and practice requirements.
We are aware that fraudulent communications may be sent to licensees from time to time and we want to reaffirm the ways in which important information from the College will be shared.
The College communicates with licensees primarily through email notifications from an official College email address, for example, communications@college-ic.ca, and updates via the College Portal.
Any important information regarding professional standards, compliance, practice requirements or the status of a licence will come through one of these sources.
It is important, therefore, that licensees maintain up-to-date contact information and respond to inquiries from the College in a timely manner.
Any suspicious communications from external sources should be reported to the College by emailing communications@college-ic.ca.
